Strength training and its main disadvantages

   The oldest method for development of strength is is weight training. Strength improves other components of physical fitness directly or indirectly it is very important component of physical fitness.

There are various type of exercises like :-

1- isometric

2- isokinetic

3- isotonic etc

These exercise comes under weight training.

        It is generally  done with equipments which provide a resistance or weight like as dumbbells, weight training machine, weight plates rods etc. 


       Weight training is very important for sports person especially for strength development if it is done properly will give you good result.

       For bodybuilders weight training is common it has to be done in proper way under coach to bring strength or shape of the body. 


       Best training method to increase strength is weight training. Before you start weight training session, you should do proper warming up. Which is very necessary.

There are so many weight training exercises 

# strength training important


For shoulder and arms:- 

1- shoulder press

2- arm curl

3- chin-ups 

4- push- ups 

5- bench press

6- butterfly pull etc.

For abdomen:- 

1- sit- ups

2- Ab-crunch 

3- L- hold 

4- reverse sit-ups 

For legs :-

1- full squat

2- half squat

3- stair jump

4- heel raise 

5- leg extension etc. 


     You should remember these factors during weight training session:-

1- Duration of weight training session

2- total rest time between the sets 

3- resistance to weight

4- speed of repetition

5- you should also so know about maximal strength, explosive strength and strength endurance. 

     You should be in proper kit up during weight training session, and you should drink enough water.


There are 5 disadvantages of weight training.

1- Requirement of weight training equipments:- 

   If you want to do weight training you have to be special type of tools, equipments and weight training machines which are very expensive and difficult to arrange or purchase. if you will join a gym it can be expensive. 

 

2- Injuries:- At the time of weight training you may be feel injured from cramps, strain and sprain etc.


3- Common use of steroids :-  So many people wants to to get faster growth that's why coaches and trainers recommended them for steroids and growth hormones. Which is very  harmful for health. 


4- Requirement of supporter :-  If you are doing weight training you always need supporter aur helper which will help you during weight training time otherwise accident or injury may occur.


5- Requirement of proper diet :- Proper and balanced diet is must while you are performing weight training otherwise you have to face so many health problems and injury also.


ADVANTAGES OF WEIGHT TRAINING

  (5 Advantage of weight training)

1- Increase bone density :-  Bones become strong while we do weight training regularly in a proper way.

2- maintain body weight :- By the way from weight training we can remove body fat and it help to control the body weight.

3- improve body posture- From the weight training exercises we can get good posture and good shape of the body or good structure also. From weight training we can improve overall physical personality.

4- improve endurance :- Weight training also help to increase endurance. Like static strength, maximal strength, strength endurance and explosive strength.

5- improve diet and strength:-  Weight training helps to improve diet or tremendous amount of strength in an individual, which is most important factor.
